THE ROLE

An opportunity has become available for a Quality & Compliance Officer to join our DC team in Coffs Harbour, NSW! In this exciting role, you will oversee and assess the arrival of fruit from our growers across Australia, ensuring our berries meet the highest quality standards for our customers. Reporting to the DC Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. If you are passionate about quality and ready to make an impact, this opportunity is for you!

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Inspection and evaluation of fruit from our grower base upon arrival at the DC
• Cross checking against Driscoll's and customer quality standards
• Assist with managing stock rotation
• Supervise and coordinate casual QC staff during peak periods
• Compile daily QC reports for the management team
• Ensure QC equipment is adequately maintained and calibrated 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following capabilities:

• Previous experience in Quality Control in a similar industry (soft fruits is preferred)
• Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture / Food Science or Quality is highly regarded
• Ability to provide supervisory assistance and guidance to DC team members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Ability work autonomously
• Great attention to detail
