THE ROLE

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a talented fruit Production Planner to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and refining fruit supply planning models that are vital for executing our long-term category plans. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you’ll compile and analyse seasonal fruit production data to continually enhance the accuracy and efficiency of these models. Your role will also include supporting critical activities such as supply forecasting, budgeting, and tracking seasonal performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance predictive planning models to generate essential information for supply forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Collect and analyse fruit production data from various sources to update key assumptions and refine supply projections.
  • Identify trends, deviations, and key insights from the data to update future supply strategies.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to maintain long-term category plans and develop reporting tools for improved transparency.
  • Compile and manage annual budget templates and underlying assumptions.
  • Create and maintain dynamic dashboards to monitor seasonal performance across products and regions.
  • Develop models to assess long-term supply chain requirements aligned with overall volume projections.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this role, applicants will need to demonstrate capabilities in the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering preferred 
  • 2-3 years of work experience in data analysis, production planning or similar role.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite, data modelling tools (Quantrix) and Power BI (or equivalent)
  • Ability to establish and maintain new operating processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Valid Australian working rights
