Nursery Planning Analyst

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an exciting opportunity to join Driscoll’s Australia, where you will work closely with nursery leaders and operational stakeholders to provide data-driven insights that support operational performance, inventory optimisation and business decision-making.  You will develop dashboards, analyse business performance, improve planning processes and help shape the future capacity of our nursery operations.

Some of your key responsibilities during rotations, will include:

  • Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions. 
  • Analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks and opportunities. 
  • Deliver operational and strategic insights to support business decision-making. 
  • Support short, medium and long-term nursery capacity planning activities. 
  • Develop forecasting and modelling tools to improve planning accuracy. 
  • Maintain planning databases and key planning assumptions. 
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve business processes. 
  • Partner with operational leaders to understand reporting needs and deliver practical solutions. 
  • Train and support users to improve adoption of reporting tools and dashboards.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this role, applicants will need to demonstrate capabilities in the following:

  • Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, planning or reporting roles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Experience interpreting complex data and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation and process optimisation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams. 
  • Valid Australian working rights
  • Valid Drivers License
