Lab Assistant (Multiple Roles)

THE ROLE

Set on an expansive site with brand new facilities and equipment, including a state of the art, 1200 sqm tissue culture facility that can accommodate up-to 50 staff, we have multiple entry level roles for Laboratory Assistants to join our team. 

These positions will report to the Laboratory Technicians and will assist in the execution of daily tissue culture production plans. You will be responsible for performing daily tasks under the direction of the Lab Supervisor as well as assisting the Quality Assurance, Production and Media teams to evaluate plant quality, plant propagation and media preparation tasks.  You will also assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the lab and its facilities and equipment.

• Strong team player.
• Good communication skills.
• Ensure production processes meet quality standards and specifications.
• Proficient in performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Perform basic maintenance on laboratory equipment, including daily cleaning and following maintenance schedules.
• Follow all safety protocols and requirements within the lab.
